Lead Vocalist, Soul Diego’s dynamic front man has a diverse range & tons of energy. Billy hails from Detroit and was one of the founding members and lead vocalist of the legendary soul group The Precisions.

The story of the Precisions starts back in a Detroit high school when young friends decided to form a vocal group – recording for the local D-Town and Drew labels before recording two singles on Atco. Although these labels had nowhere near the budget of Motown, the recordings are incredibly lush with huge orchestration, tales of love and heartbreak that could only have originated from the Motor City – all painted with Billy Prince’s angelic voice.

Although several of their records charted, including the anthemic “If this is love (I’d rather be lonely)”, they never received the distribution that brought them the fame they deserved. It is not hard to imagine that if these records had come out on Motown, that the world would have looked to the Precisions as one of the pillars of Detroit soul. Billy is recently back into the local entertainment scene & our fans love how he always makes them a part of the show.
